How did I do on my exam?
For some examples of very thorough poem analysis - the section most students struggled with - see these resources:
http://mural.uv.es/garmaest/London%20by%20William%20Blake.htm
http://www.sparknotes.com/poetry/blake/section9.rhtml
http://www.tutorhunt.com/resource/1325/
Of course you would not be expected to notice/know ALL of that. However, taking a close look at the words and language of the poem is important - and USING THE WORDS in your answer is important.
This is a good exercise in getting ready for close readings (like text-dissection) in Grade 12.

Literature Timeline
Check it out! For those of us who are visual learners and need a timeline laid out for us, this might help clarify the difference between Elizabethan England, the Romantics, the Victorians, Modern and Post-Modern writers. Enjoy!

Poet Muppet-Piece Theatre
As William Wordsworth tells us, Rainbows are pretty awesome.
More specifically he says: "My heart leaps up when I behold a rainbow in the sky!" - indeed.
Rainbows induce heart-leaping and prompt inventive homework submissions. Don't forget to submit your rainbow for our rainbow wall!
To review the lectures and videos shown in class on Romantic poetry, see the Youtube videos below. Happy creative script writing!
